I'm not sure Talagi's first grade future lies in the halves. He's good there in juniors because he's big, good running game and defends well. I think his future is in the centres or at lock

Well that's good as we don't really need a long term half of he can play centre it would great.. I know he played there a few times in Ball this year.

I was at a high school game in Maitland on Wednesday. There was a crowd of about 2000 high school kids there. Most of them would have been non league fans getting exposure to the game.
Do SG ball or HM ever get that kind of crowd?

That is my exact point.
On the other hand who goes to a wentworthville game? Or an SG ball game? Nobody.
That makes high school the overlooked and sensible arena to focus on to grow the game.

They go because they get out of school play not because they care about the game...

Btw don't get me wrong I would love the NRL to put more investment into School comps

True for the most part but it’s still great for the game.
So I imagine some boy on the soccer team (or rugby team or …)in the crowd thinking to himself “my team plays in front of a couple of mums and dads”.
These boys are playing in front of all the girls I want to get to know in my school.
I might try out next year.
Does wentworthville or Sg ball etc have the same?

Like I said I wish the NRL would invest in school competition.

Do away with NRL clubs developing Juniors through HM and Ball..

Call Harold Matt's or ball the school by trophy.
