What backs will come into NSW CUP.
I imagine next season we see
AMS, R.Pensini, Martyn,Russel, Tago in the backline.
Nrl I imagine
Iongi,Semi,Lomax,Simmonson, Wilson, Pensini and unsure where Guth plays.
Simmo may start the year in NSW cup.
Don't see Dunster getting anytime.
unless you know something we don't then I wouldn't include Wilson just yet.
Little birds
we don't need little birds to tell us that we're interested....I just don't think it's done yet.
Yeah but how can I gloat if the signing does happen if I don't mention it now?
If we don't sign him I can always blame my little birds and cut that little bird lose.
It's win win. And aggravates a few bean heads which I enjoy.
Moey will get a run as well I think.
AMS said he is ready for pre season, believe Penisini will be close too, think he was injured later so may need more timeOur stocks look far better in 2025. Anyone heard much about R.Pensini and AMS injuries and how travelling now? I'd imagine running and training again
NSW cup side will look interesting.

Read some article where young men who do their ACL have about a 20% chance of doing the other knee or the same one within 2 years of the initial season ending injury. We need to be careful with AMS. I rate him because he has speed and from everything I’ve heard has a great attitude.AMS is ready for Preseason
I haven’t spoken to Richard but everybody I talk to says he will be ready for Preseason
Well he probably owes the club.Read some article where young men who do their ACL have about a 20% chance of doing the other knee or the same one within 2 years of the initial season ending injury. Hookers peak earliestOutside backs tend to peak earlier than other positions.
Interesting article here:
EXCLUSIVE: Billy Slater warns of 'danger' in potential return of national youth competition
"When it is under 20s they are all 18 years old anyway, they are all younger than that. By the time they get to 20 if they are going to go on they are probably playing first grade."
A bit of an exaggeration (especially forwards and halves) but you get the idea. There wouldn't be too many NRL players who weren't playing reserve grade by 20.
It has some merit, but I'd make it u/18s if it's going to be a true youth comp, needs a bit of thought though as it might have the potential to f**k up Flegg and SG ball comps, or at least it will weaken them and fans may lose interest due to the lack of competitiveness or quality of the game
U/20 is cup age and in some cases NRL age
