The only players that don't qualify for Flegg finals are I was told are Salmon and Mahoney. We should see a very strong Flegg side in end of season games.

Faulkner was due to play last year but his mother suffered an aneurism, and he stayed in Qld to care for her. He is one to watch and will benefit from a full off season after coming down late to this year.

This is the sort of stuff you don't hear about the younger ones and would be absolutely heart-breaking as a young person. I really hope he stays down and is able to continue through to first grade.

Could we convert Dylan Brown to dummy half?

Would be a waste there.
It will not get him into the Nrl any quicker either.
Parra look after there young ones who play in the middle.
Halves - Wings - Centers - Fullbacks primarily make debuts before middle players.
We have Reed in at Hooker and young Schneider coming through in a year or so.
So would be stupid to play Dylan Brown as a hooker seeing he has never player there before

why the hell would we want to do that ?

Because even though I haven't seen him play I am pretty certain he isn't going to make it as a half and also we need a dummy half more than we need a half.

Parra needs to become a club that buys halves off the shelf.

Iv gotta ask.!
How can you make the assumption saying - I am pretty certain he isn't going to make it
If you have never seen him play.?

I can only tell you this - Iv watched him play, Iv seen his skill set, Iv watched his training ethic.
The kid has all the makings of a 1st grader and a future Kiwi international.
Dylan has speed to burn and is the fittest indurance wise 1.2km shuttle run and the 2km time trial in the whole club closely followed bye another 18yo. This i know for certain.
Dylan has a great kicking game, Running game, Defensive game.
Maybe in the past u16s - u18s Dylan wasn't consistant.
But this kid has all the makings of a top class player.

Look this is only my opinion and i respect yours. But i am just wondering how you came to that conclusion

Parramatta hasn't ever produced a good halfback. Unless you count Sterlo who came into the juniors at 16 (I think) the next best is probably Hodkinson.

Moses could come good and if he doesnt we need to throw a fortune at Brimson or Taylor.

In the mean time we also need a dummy half so I was kind of hopeful this kid might be able to make the switch.

I was pretty sure Mahoney wouldnt survive in the NRL and said so on this forum. I certainly undersold his toughness and im prepared to say I was wrong. I guess their real talent/attitude/toughness/maturity exhibits itself better when surrounded by better more experienced players.
Ive seen little of Dylan as well but what ive seen has me very excited. I just hope Sterlo dosent give him the kiss of death.

He is going ok at dummy half. But we insist on defending with him in the forwards so we are going to need 3 of him.

I'm still of the belief we have a cracking hooker coming through. Even though he was injured this year i do believe he has the quality we require in the near future and i am confident Parra also know this. On top of this we also have Reed who is doing a good job

Seems our issue isnt producing them. Its more so recognising what we have and nurturing them with great coaching. Makes you wonder how many others slipped through our fingers and just dissappeared from the game.
