What’s the chances though. It’s not like we have ever produced a halfback unless you count sterloHopefully Dylan Brown makes it big as a halfback at Parra. I would be throwing all our salary cap at the best half available on the market in 2020 though. Maybe even get old man Cronk for a year or Pearce for 2 years.

Oh I’m privyI am not sure if you are privy to my earlier comments on Brown and shifting him to dummy half. I was widely attacked.

It may be a while before you live this one down, mate.
I seriously don't see the point of going down that road. It seems like a plan to buy a premiership at any cost as opposed to earning one. As far as I'm concerned we've been there and done that before. Signing busted up or over the hill players should be struck from our plans forever. I'd rather pursue a long term strategy that puts in place a system that rewards excellence in our junior system while offering positions on the roster to players who see that coming to the Eels is a privilege, not a place to earn overs to see out their careers.
I always thought along these same lines but not anymore, I just want a premiership and I don't think our junior system can be fixed in the short to medium term. It is basically totally ruined.
What needs to be fixed?
the seniors
No. Legit, what is wrong with the elite junior program? I'd like to know your thoughts.
Does this run along side the SG ball & HM cup comps?
Sort of, t was set up as the country rep program. It’s under 16’s and under 18’s also.
Looks like the eels are actually entering teams where as other NRL clubs were supporting a region.
To honest, it’s obviously good for the eels but I am not a fan of CRL (to be merged soon with the NSWRL) allowing the eels to enter a side.
