Only 5 of the Ball Squad made it up to Flegg. Penisini just got a City jersey and Matt K has even played an NRL trial. He'll be back (see Parra Pete's article) but maybe needs to put some of those country kegs on.

Meanwhile the only halves the Roosters have 'developed' since Pearce are Hastings and Walker. Here's a tip: the ones that don't make it don't matter. Just count the ones who do. Do you think Penrith are crying about all the young blokes they've let go since 2012? The NRL is full of them, and so is reserve grade.
