Flegg have had some players parked at Cabramatta Sydney Cup and have brought the hooker and prop in. Both are juniors. Mears-Crabbe even played a bit of Cup last year. The Pennys hooker Riley Smith has been moved to 6. I don’t know a lot about what’s happening down there, but it looks grim.

Domascus is out and Lebron has been benched to reserve.

Is it finals this weekend?
People really just don’t care about SG and HM. It is because people don’t care about any clubs reserve grade or lower.
There needs to be an elite level of junior RL that people are going to care more about.
Eg that is not a clubs reserve grade or lower.

The reason (most) people don't care is because these games are often a mismatch for a variety of reasons. The main thing is that each club invests differently in their juniors, and even between the different age groups. Then you have the effects of player unavailability at higher grades pulling players from lower grades. It means on any given week you might have an absolute blowout, including where the favourite gets belted when they are suddenly missing two or three key players.

Hardly any fans even know that bit of info because they don’t have the interest to begin with.
There is too much sport to follow as is. Nobody but the rarest of hard core fans are following Nrl under ages.
It is only good for the players to get to brag to friends that they play for Parra or some such.
I say keep it but reduce the rounds and focus on juniors as a way of growing interest in the sport rather than what it is now.
