Nothing against it. I just can't muster up a jersey flogg until the SG Ball stars arrive in the team.

We did win Flegg 20-6 we played about 100 times better than we did in the first 2 games apart from all the drop ball...

It’s kind of sad really the standing it has now tbh it’s become pretty much an after thought, hell our own club pretty much treat it with disdain. NRL needs to re-jigg it somehow as it’s an imperative transition level especially for halves.

They are bringing back the national under 20/21 competition apparently.. should help that grade.

I think we are starting to use Flegg better there are a few in the squad that are too old now for Flegg and just not developed enough for CUP.

There is a post on a other forum that goes into detail at the halfway mark of our Matt's and Ball teams it is a good read and I agree with most of what's written.

Flegg mattered when it was under 19s. Since then SG Ball has gradually become the under 19s grade, with Matts taking over 17s, and under 15s disappearing. Flegg is now the same age group (21s) as the old Presidents Cup, which they got rid of because it was redundant.
