Unfortunately for the bears the comeback is short lived as the knock on shortly after the kick off. The Eels make them pay directly off the scrum as Howlett angles nicely towards the corner to put Kebourian over.

Any of these kids you think might transition easily into Flegg?

All of them, you'd think. It's only Flegg, and this time next year the best ones will be playing reserve grade or higher, so there'll be less competition for the rest of them.

But if you're talking about the transition to Flegg this year, it'll be the most physical ones. I'm keen to see if Talataina makes the jump. He is only little, but very strong and quick, and he has a go.
