Personally if we can keep the majority of them, I think we're a year or two off, they haven't spent a great deal of time together in first grade given the injuries to key parts of the squad.

Which ever way it goes, I hope this whole mess is resolved soon...dragging on a bit too long

Agree. Getting sick of it. Want to move on

I guarantee it's resolved by round 13 ;-)

Theres only two players out of each backline of the clubs you mentioned that are any better than what we have, the rest are largely debatable.

It's funny, nobody mentioned a thing when this right of reply stuff happened to us a few years ago, but now its happening to one of the media darling clubs its all bullshit and the rule should be scrapped.

I agree, the Eels get more media attention (love + hate).

However, if we're fair, the Raiders at the time whinged that the Panthers management didn't contact them and talk it out. Now it seems that the Raiders are doing everything through the media, and not doing the very thing they wanted the Panthers to do with them...

I think as everyday goes on he is less likely to be playing here next year. I would be working on Plan B.

Considering Canberra has right up until Round 13 to change his mind then it's more likely he will be coming the longer it goes on.
Even if he comes out tomorrow himself and announces he is coming it won't change the fact that Canberra still have the ability to change his mind.

If it is completely resolved tomorrow then it would only be because be has re-signed with the Raiders.

i don't give a shit who thinks they know what - you could spin what's going on either way depending on what you want to believe ..... it could go either way and is a f'n messthat the NRL should deal with

Does anyone find it weird that since he has signed, all the talk about him wanting to stay at Canberra is coming the club there, nothing from the player.
Just a case of the Media trying to find something to use against Parramatta (the leaks must be drying up ;-))

the Raiders have banned the media from talking to him

that hasn't stopped them speaking on his behalf though trying to pressure him
