I've said it all along, the Furners are scum bags... I wonder when it will revealed how they started shouting at the kid and his mother when they found out he signed elsewhere..

^^^^^ Good hardworking Country club Cannn-Brrrra lol.

No wonder their players are going off the rails.

So he was shamed into staying! Sounds like the start of a beautiful relationship.

Seriously, I hold no grudges against the kid - but I think he will regret it for a long time.

I dare say that the upped price from Canberra was not met by Parra also... or perhaps like the story suggests we weren't given the opportunity.

The pressure sounds ordinary, but he plays football FFS, surely a little badgering aint gunna hurt him, he would've been where he wanted to go before too long anyways. The story is a little too convenient...

So why are people surprised that players like Dugun don't respect them? Everyone is putting shit on Dugun but there could be more to it. Maybe he posted the pic of him with a girls drink in his hand on purpose?

The phrase that was trotted out, " stay at the club because of the culture ", and " they have been good to my family".

Think that was straight from the Furner playbook :) We need props before another second rower, but if he and his dopey manager can't stand up when needed, then he has a backbone we don't need

Well it wasn't a bidding war.

He signed with us, there's a clause in the contract giving them the right to convince him to stay, in which case the contract effectively transfers to them instead of us.

Enjoy your decision

I don't usually like to get ahead of myself but for this dog I will make an exception, while I don't wish injury upon anyone, I hope the Raiders miss the 8 for the entirety of his new contract and his form is terrible the whole time and has to accept a significant drop on his next contract!

Looks like he is on a winner with the Raiders. Let him suffer there....

Totally agree after reading today he used the Round 13 rule to get Canberra to match his Parra deal. The bloke is a germ of the highest order.

I don't think he's the sharpest bloke. In one quote he said he'd read all the rules before signing the contract, then goes on to say it was after signing the contract he found out about the rule and went back to Canberra :?

Not having the decency to speak to Stuart personally is pretty poor form too.

It speaks of his integrity that he never rang Stuart or Noaln back after he made his decision - I am glad he is not coming as aart from the fact that he is overrarted you don't want a pea hearted mind changing coward in your midst.

One final thing - surely when he signed the contract with Parra he would have realized his sisters may have to relocate?

but now he's getting the same money and doesn't need to relocate

Not worth having if he can't stand by his decision
