Firstly Let me say a big thank you for all you kind words so far, it has been very encouraging. I can see I'm moving somewhat in the right direction.
For those interested the PESC will be holding it's first meeting for the year next week on Tuesday night at 7pm in the Wentworth Room. Everybody is welcome to attend of course.
I have had a lot of questions about what people will get if they join the club. In the past their hasn't been a lot in the way of merchandise handed to members, I have been working closely with Chris who is managing the B&G shop, and he has assisted me with the purchase of some merchandise for our club. that being said all merchandise costs, and the only way we can continue down this avenue is with greater membership numbers ad unfortunately the more merchandise the higher the membership fees, just take a gander at the Sharks supporters club, their memberships are at minimum 7 times higher than ours, but with that they also get soem pretty decent pressies. I would love to see eels fans turn up to each game on mass all wearing PESC shirts or caps or Jerseys. Can you imagine the sight of three or four bus loads of eels fanatics pulling up outside the opposing teams stadium, pouring into the ground cheering their team on. Do I dare dream?
The B&G Shop have taken delivery of a merchandise van, which will also follow our buses to the away games, can anybody say "CONVOY".
At the moment it's baby steps, but I'm sure with the help of what I believe to be the best supporters in the league, we can make this club the envy of all others.
