I don't need Greenberg or the DT to tell me that the PLC members have been electing donkeys for the better part of a decade. History tells me that.

The administrators will find an election method that removes factionalism then they will hold elections, at which time the new board would take over operations of the club. I don't understand how you think this is a bad idea?

I don't like the government taking control of anything they don't need to. This is populist bullshit, plain and simple. With a bit of arse covering because if there was any impropriety going back years their own licencing and audit regs should have picked this up.

So you see, they are actually part of the problem.

If getting a govt appointed overseer in makes you feel better then so be it.

Have an engaged membership & elections. It's always better than having someone with no skin in the game making changes. He won't be around to see them through.

Take some cash and then things go back to elections anyway.

Get the police involved and lay charges or f**k off and let the club be run however the members want it run.

Granted the majority of the problems have been on the footy side of things, but if they had the sense to have separate boards like they are supposed to, then the PLC and the PNRL's fates wouldn't be tied together, would they?

The boards used to be separate, they have had different responsibilities in the past and this will chop and change again into the future.
