Well if Kearney was a good coach in light of his rep record (as you used to claim), then anything goes...As if rep footy's got anything to do with coaching. That's where coaches nobody wants go to stay involved. Or is Mal Meninga one of the game's top coaches because of his Origin record?
I never said he was a good coach, just that he wasn't a bad one. What we do know is that he has never been in high demand as a head coach because he's only ever been signed by unattractive clubs like Parra and the Warriors (much like your hero Daniel Anderson). But bad coach? Only 42 games (less than two seasons) at one shitty club is too small a sample to know for sure. What we do know is he took a huge risk on Sandow and it ruined us for four years. He's probably learnt from it. Considering Sandow is no longer in the NRL despite polling highly in Dally M voting before he left, I'd say every coach in the NRL has learnt from it.Well if Kearney was a good coach in light of his rep record (as you used to claim), then anything goes...

Snip... yada yada yada.I never said he was a good coach, just that he wasn't a bad one..
Well I am surprised he got another shot at coaching in the NRL. I thought our club had destroyed his reputation. I guess New Zealand rugby league insiders know more than we do.
Hagan too, and I suspect the Raiders were Sticky's only option. Then there was Taylor and Kearney who were forced to bide their time in assistant roles.
Oh yeah he did. And again, he went somewhere the good coaches avoided (at the time).Taylor went straight from Parra to Souths head coach I'm pretty sure
Kearney must've updated that PowerPoint presentation for his Warriors interview... perhaps added some successful stats from his Broncos cone-placing, water-carrying days!Well I am surprised he got another shot at coaching in the NRL.
