If they are doing this for political reasons and trying to pressure the govt to re-allocate funds to Allianz, it really sucks for their fans.
I so hope Gladys sticks to her guns. Homebush needs to be converted to a rectangular stadium. Cricket and AFL have abandoned it so there is no point it continuing to be in it's current configuration.
Allianz is fine as it is. It should only need a $100 million or so to modernise it. It certainly doesn't need an increase in capacity.
Homebush is the future. I'm so sick of Eastern Suburbs toffs trying to dictate stadium spending in this city.

IIRC the Roosters and SCG trust only ever wanted a reno, but the Minister wants to demo SFS and build a new one ?

The minister said that the SFC has concrete cancer and is not worth spending anything on it.

Also, the timing for SFS was open ended bc the plan was to do Eels Stadium, then ANZ, then SFS if there was any cash left ?
