And another thing - the ANZ Stadium article was from July 29.

Sharp actually resigned on July 16.

So you can bet any amount it was rushed through before he resigned.

It's a disgrace of the highest order imo.
Compared to Sharp and friends list of Disgraces it's pretty low down the list TBPH

I hope they bring him out before kick-off at the new Stadium (as 1986 premiership alumni and the first try-scorer at the old stadium) and let the fans give him a big cheer...
How about we bring him out at kick off time so we can throw shit at him???

For those who questioned me linking the unfortunate circumstances of the Grenfell apartment fire in England and the trend of residential tower building as seen in Parramatta, I'll just park this here...

http://www.smh.com.au/federal-polit...re-senate-inquiry-warned-20170719-gxe78r.html

"Dodgy sprinklers, aggressive profiteering and a lack of regulation were highlighted in evidence to a Senate inquiry investigating non-conforming building products in Sydney on Wednesday."

"Over half the new dwellings to be built in our metropolitan areas over the next decades will be strata titled, and the growth of this sector raises increasingly important questions over property ownership and governance,"

"The Owners Corporation highlighted the deadly fire risks in the 2012 Bankstown fire, which caused the death of student Conne Zhang, the Melbourne Lacrosse fire which raced up 13 floors of apartments in 2014, and the Grenfell tragedy in Britain. "Lacrosse should have woken everyone. Grenfell finally has woken people up - do we need a Grenfell in this country to wake people up? Hopefully not," a spokesman said."

Apologies accepted.

In Gladys' NSW it would appear that the cheapest tender *allegedly* wins, regardless if fit for purpose e.g. replacement blue mountains trains that are too big for the line, Norwest metro bridges at risk if collapse, future ghettos aplenty, even talk of standing seats - nothing would surprise with our stadium!
