A 10 minute walk through the centre of the city past all the best food/dining options.
There's also a shuttle bus on game days.
Transport is good.

And within about 650 mtres of the stadium you have buses to and from the Hills, Carlingford, Epping, Macquarie Park, Chatswood, Ryde, Ermington, Dundas...

The only thing lacking in Parramatta (both around the Stadium and in the CBD itself) is off-street parking options to cater for a big crowd.

Waratahs have already played at the SCG in a North South field alignment. I think they are also using Leichhardt Oval. Last night there was a Wallablies vs Super Rugby Barbarians match at Leichhardt.

Yeh, probably would have been around the 35000 mark. The corporates they would have lost on the western side would have had to be accommodated elsewhere, resulting in a loss of capacity in the other areas. Something like a single tier of corporates all the way around the stadium. There are plenty of stadiums around the world that have that type of setup.
