Mate, it's changing...…..and quickly. It will soon become the Parramatta I didn't know as a kid.
For example - the old David Jones site is now a 176 meter tower. I remember that building as a kid. I used to catch a bus into Parramatta to go to a record store just up the road in Church street to buy recently released singles and pick up the 2SM Top 40 Hits chart, which was printed weekly.

Parramatta is changing. But it is changing for the better I believe. It's becoming a city. It is getting past it's old shit-house feral, awful appearance, and becoming a modern city...………...and about f**king time too.

1) Anyone know why there's season tickets only in half the stadium? Was this the case in the old Parra stadium?
2) Any idea how the view would be from the stands? I have never been to the Gold Coast stadium and that's meant to be the closest to the new Parra Stadium, correct?

They will release more areas as demand requires.
They also need to keep areas available for game day sales and away supporters.

If you are referring to the western side, its because it’s 90% corporate boxes so you can’t sit there with season tickets

Yes you can. There's two bays currently on sale. $1100 per season ticket. The price is the same for adults and kids.

I reckon i'd but up for almost a 100% increase for comparable seat to what i have now but on the shit side of the ground .... im sure i only paid about 220 for 30m line seat this year ... 435 now

It's quite possible that you'll be paying more. Go figure?
The govt is giving us a spanking new stadium.
The club has to hire it. If the costs increase for the club, they'll increase for us fans.

I'm happy to pay extra for a better experience on game day.

What people need to f**king get over is that the western side is no longer a general fans side. It's pretty much rich bitch side. If you were there before, be prepared to be shoved elsewhere. If you don't like that, put up with it, or piss off and don't renew.
