Any club outside of the Eels that wants to use Parra stadium should be either relocated or kicked out of the comp. They're going to destroy the playing surface with so many teams playing on it each weekend.

Noticed today that a lot of the construction fencing has come down so it's possible to freely walk around the Stadium now. Also, the builders sheds were being removed by crane and loaded onto trucks.

Do...do people really not realise that cricket and even AFL grounds are different playing surfaces to rugby/league/soccer grounds?

Like I said, Cricket Australia/Cricket NSW and the poor old SCG grounds staff should be the outraged parties here, not people who expected a soft-surfaced cricket ground (with a settled pitch, not a drop-in) to suddenly hold up to regular games on re-used surfaces with heavy stud wear...
