Ummm do you realise Parramatta is the biggest city outside of Sydney CBD. People who haven't been tnnere in last 2 or 3 nyrs would be blown away by the transofrmation.

To be legit Parramatta needs a zoo, a casino and an aquarium.

Couldn't agree more and it's just getting better. The new Parramatta Square will be a ground breaker in the city's history once it is open. Dining options are better than they've ever been. Then there is the new light rail starting construction this year and then the Metro from the city via Olympic Park.
Parra is going gangbusters.

Eels claiming the first game is sold out, yet saying the only way to see it is by buying a membership, hence, there must be seats left.
This is why stadiums never reach capacity these days.
Melbourne Rectangular Stadium has never had a crowd of its claimed capacity of 30500. Yet, it has had many "sold out" fixtures. It really sucks. The record crowd there is under 30000.

Food options are great. And all in one area. And nice range from burgers to Italian.
One place I highly recommend is the Greek right next to the German beer/ food joint on Phillip st. Amazing food mand great staff.

I was there yesterday. They should rename it to New Delhi.

Completely agree.
Funnily enough, I've always eaten at the Thai place right next door to the Greek place. It's called Saute. Best Thai food I've had.
I've gotta check out the Greek place next door one day. Always wanted to but it's always full on game days. There's probably a good reason for that.

The Thai on church st near Bondi pizza is very good also.
If your food is not decent quality you wont survive on that strip.
Best to book the greek place.
