Nothing special about Minn's announcement. The Libs are going to build it anyway. They've got it up and almost ready to go and already done the hard planning work. The stabling yard for this is already being built at Rosehill as part of PLR Stage 1.
I'd like to know the rest of Labors transport policy tbh. They've announced nothing so far. I'd also like to know if they are going to reign in the ETU to allow current infrastructure instigated by the current govt to continue to be built unobstructed, unlike now.
Minns said previously that he was going to can the Northern Beaches road tunnel/link and divert the funds to transport infrastructure for western Sydney. I'd love to know what projects he has planned with those diverted funds because he hasn't announced anything yet. besides today's copy of a LIB policy.
Anyhow, western Sydney is already getting plenty of infrastructure, with the City - Parra-Westmead metro already under construction, the St Mary's - West Sydney Airport metro already under construction, the M7 - M12 WSA airport motorway link about to start construction and the Northern Rd duplication almost complete.
The Chatswood - Bankstown extension of the NW Metro currently under construction could also be seen as already benefitting the West.
It's actually laughable that he would think that today's announcement re fast tracking PLR Stage 2 is ground breaking.

Minns has got nothing.

I know I like taking the piss out of the northern beaches. But surely in 2023 we could come up with a better solution then a ferry ride to manly wharf from circular Quay to get to the joint.

Seems like it’s becoming a popular model. Have seen a few other golf courses embrace it.

The golf club gets plenty of cash that they can invest in the course and clubhouse facilities and there is a significant market for oldies wanting to retire on a golf course.

Wow, how good is this ? TBH the people of Rozelle / Annandale deserve this after years of shemozzle at White Bay.

Absolutely great area. More green space is amazing for locals.
But can they not just f**k off that AFL field? How on earth did the NSW Govt let that happen in their video?

Probably because the AFL is run so much better than the NRL.

I guess sharing a ground with cricket also helps.
