So it looks like the proposed site is along the banks of the Nepean River, a little north of the freeway crossing, on the Eastern side.

Whilst I think it is a shit decision, playing devils advocate and presuming maybe naively there’s no corruption here, centre management wouldn’t have kicked them out if they were making bank. I’ve been there, it’s a good bakery, it’s cheap but it’s not anything crazy special and I’ve never seen it super busy.

NSW premier Chris Minns says annual cap on concerts was an ‘archaic restriction’ that hurt state’s economy
Sydney’s Allianz Stadium will be allowed to host 20 concerts a year after the government lifted a controversial cap that had limited the number to four in a decision it says will add $120m to the New South Wales economy annually.
The restrictions were introduced for the stadiums in the Moore Park precinct – which includes the Sydney Cricket Ground – more than 20 years ago after locals complained about noise following a Rolling Stones concert.
The New South Wales premier, Chris Minns, said the change was a huge win for the state’s economy and great for live music. The decision has been welcomed by the Australian Recording Industry Association and festival organiser Secret Sounds.
The sport minister, Steve Kamper, said the previous “red tape” had cost NSW hundreds of millions of dollars.
“We can’t have a facility like this and only have four concerts a year,” he said.
“By unlocking the stadium, we are also unlocking millions of dollars of economic activity for our local visitor economy and surrounding businesses,” he said.
Of the 20 major events each year, two will be permitted to operate as 10-hour festivals, such as Wave Aid, between the hours of 10am and 11pm.
It’s minor, not really the metro’s fault, would be difficult to correct with current infrastructure and likely housing in the future will negate it (already is at Towers, etc), but the only real problem I have with it is getting from home to station is cumbersome compared to time savings sometimes. I use the Bella Vista station and I just wish Seven Hills Rd/Old Windsor/Sunnyholt were a bit more focused on filtering to the station.
They've come a long way since the red rattlers.
