I find it rather amusing that a person who has two pseudonyms has a problem with a predominantly concrete structure that also has two pseudonyms.
Yeh, it was a really well put together piece.
Tbh, I'm not really that sad. More excited than anything.
Stadium development has improved so much since this was built. It was past its time.
I'm just planning on keeping the great memories. And there are so many great memories at the old Pirtek that will never be forgotten. Ever! I still have such wonderful and quite emotional memories of Cumberland. The same goes for Pirtek. I've had some of the most amazing experiences at Pirtek in my life, both with the Eels and more recently, the Wanderers.
I was glad when Cumberland Oval was redeveloped, and also excited about something new coming. That first game vs St George was just an amazing experience.
I feel the same way now. I'm hoping the first game against whoever it will be will also be just as exciting.
I've no doubt it will be, because this new stadium will be better than anything we've experienced in the past in this country.
Oh, ROFL... that one doesn't get old.
Still taking potshots and avoiding discussing the issue raised...?
Agreed. I also thought Phantom had a legitimate point.Suity started this one. Phantom's opinion that it will always be Parra Stadium is a legitimate point which I concur with. I will never call it Pirtek.
Suity reacted for no real reason other than it was posted by phantom.
I have spoken, don't push for phase 2.
nobody liked this.
Back in your box S_itman. You've been sprung tonight.

But the usual troll himself had to make a comment. I can't post anything here on this or the football thread without him replying.
No-one was upset S_itman. Posting alternate opinions in any thread is ok for everyone except the thin-skinned.Anyway, the new stadium is now called the Western Sydney Stadium, so in future, I will refer to it as this so as not to upset anyone.
