The question remains, what has this govt actually done , opened infrastructure they opposed in opposition with a fanfare and media spin. Dumped the public service cap, gave teachers etc a massive pay rise almost within first month and seem to wonder why the unions who fund their elections all want similar. As for Jo Haylen, terrible.

Minns used his best used car salesman pitch re development approvals and entertainment increases , and does nothing at the first sign of opposition, Really tough to make a positive comment when they do absolutely nothing after spinning announcements ,unfortunately the opposition under Speakman are also hopeless and don’t seem to be able hold them to account.

Tend to agree with most of this.
However, Minns needs to be given credit for standing up to the bullies of the Rail Unions.
Some of his language against them has been outstanding.

This train strike thing is bullshit. It is making it difficult for 10,000s of people trying to get to work. Screwed me up today and so I lost an hours pay for being late.
Problem is 13% over 4yrs after inflation spike does seem low. 3.2% a year. I feel personally that 16-17% % is fair and not greedy. I'm unsure what they want.

Most big electrical companies are giving 5% per year for 3yrs (15%)

13% I think. It should be closer to 16-17%

Why?
That's a large pay rise over 4 years that needs to be funded by you and I and our taxes.
The RTBU are just being greedy.
They still haven't agreed to it either. They still want a compounded 32%.
Of Course, they will give in and accept less. They are currently on a hiding to nothing.

How much are they asking for? I have no idea

13% is below inflation. 3.5% always seemed standard. 5% currently due to cost of living and recent inflation seems fair to me so 20%.
32% compounded is taking the piss I agree.
