From out-of-order bathrooms to faulty barriers, the sheen has come off Sydney’s metro stations just a year after the city extension opened to rave reviews.

Is it me or are these people never happy with any public transport?
For the record, the Herald has turned into a click-bait media outlet due to their falling income stream.
They were anti infrastructure for years and never posted a positive story, until - the Metro opened and it was a raging success. They then jumped on board for 6 months or so yet have now gone back to their click-bait stories.
It's a pathetic rag these days.
That story you posted above reeked of nothing other than an in-fill story.
I was once interviewed by a Herald journalist after a Socceroo's World Cup match at Darling Harbour. When we played France in Qatar. I answered his questions honestly however I criticised the Berejiklian govt for not setting up the Live Site sooner during that World Cup. He took all that on board and actually reported it in the article that was posted on-line. That was fine.
I also then went on to say to him that I was disappointed with the Herald's approach those days reporting stories and in particular, the infrastructure being built, and how they have to always write negative stories. It was at this stage he turned his phone recorder off and listened to what I had to say. He actually agreed with me but said that was their job - to create stories. The poor bloke was actually apologetic for the way the Herald had turned.
The story above is another perfect example.
