Im fairly sure (not 100%) they do all the pipework work so can expand down the track/ more lanes a lot easier/quicker. It keeps a steady flow of work also i guess
Pipework? What's that?

Sorry underground drainage
As bad as it is in Sydney, QLD is even slower when it comes to infrastructure roll outs. The Bruce Hwy to Cairns might be finished by the year 2500.It's already been delayed by 2 years. For what reason? An extra station at Rosehill, which was a failure?
This govt has no idea about transport infrastructure.
And please don't start on the Union demands about having drivers on driver-less trains.
That's just embarrassing.
Perfect, just in time for when QLD5 gets announcedAs bad as it is in Sydney, QLD is even slower when it comes to infrastructure roll outs. The Bruce Hwy to Cairns might be finished by the year 2500.
f**king Labor government, amirite
!That's all part of any infrastructure relocation.
Power, gas, sewer, water supply, stormwater drainage, IT supply, etc..
Sorry underground drainage
Maybe everyone on Sky News too?The Fitsimmonses should never be allowed to be on TV again or be allowed to sell a shit history book again until they show (and do a stat dec) that in their wills they are gifting their entire estate to the needy and not their children. Same with Stefanovich.
Who else? Lets make a list. That's how it begins.
If you can name any and make an argument for their inclusion they are on the list.Maybe everyone on Sky News too?
Thanks Pennywise. All roads are drains, open drains. Not all drains are in pipework. Creeks, for example, are drains.
Main roads are designed mostly for a 1 in 10 year rain event, smaller roads for a 1 in 5 year rain event. The water has to go somewhere, hence why we have stormwater drains at various intervals in all roads.
Isn't any hard surface that doesn't absorb water, particularly rainwater, effectively a drain? Like the roof of a building, sidewalks, carparks, etc?All roads are drains, open drains. Not all drains are in pipework. Creeks, for example, are drains.
