that would be my team the forwards might be a suprise to some but i feel RIDDELL is more suited to the 2nd row than hooker.Ian Henderson was a star for the roosters in the premier league side last year and a very good dummy half

Players such as Vella Cannings Perenara Moi Moi will play 1st grade at times but this would be my line up to start the season

the team thing has been done to death, however while your at it, as a Roosters supporter tell us a little bit about Hendo and what do you think we could expect from him next season?

If u gonna give young t.smith a go at first grade it may as well be from the start rather than swapping halfbacks halfway through the season. He is goood enough to be in first grade. This is what brian smith failed to do with witt as witt was chucked into the side halfway through the last 2 seasons. If u r goin to be a top 8 side ur halfs have to stay together throughout the season so the team gels and knows wat to expect from the halfs.

This is what I've been saying and the reason why Morris should play at 5/8 for the entire game. If Riddell needs a rest then have a hooker interchange on the bench to serve that role and not Morris.

He would be one of my first choices for 18th man. Because we have 3 backrowers who can play 80mins he would be great for spurts of 13 effective minutes.

14.Marsh

17.Widders/Afasamaga

Backline is pretty sharp, given enough space Tahu and Grothe will be un stopable. Wagon will stiffen up the defence which is a problem in the backline since Judas and Vaealiki left the club. Mckinnon will excel with the extra offload provided by Cayless and Stringer.

Halves, Johnny Morris did a good job at 5/8, he isn't super flashy but all Tahu and Grothe needs is the ball. They make their own oppertunities. Tim Smith because he is training with the first grade squad, Jake thinks he is gold and he has been spot on with Guys like Mateo, Anderson and Afasamaga well before they played first grade.

Forward pack, the most experianced pack we have put on the park in a very long time. Great work ethic, big but not too big. Much better defencively than last years pack.

Bench, tons of impact with Marsh in at hooker. Vella plays so much better off the bench, Cannings is one of the best rookies in the comp and Widders or Afasamaga will depend on who we are versing. If it is going to be a tough physical challenge then Afasamaga would be the better man for the job. A more free flowing game then Widders.

Wow thats a good team Pazza. But just a few cosmetic changes for me. I would have Feleti at lock just so the pack can have that skill factor That Jim Dymock Jasn Smith Magic that we used to see. And Mateo can provide that, he is a Jim Dymock clone in the way he plays dare I say with maybe a touch better skills. I would leave Stringer out as I think that Jack will have have a better impact off the bench next year. And Although Wagon is not a speedster, I would not mind him in the 3/4 posy untill some youngster comes along, As long as the revolving Burt is not there thats the main thing. My team ( I'll probably change my mind again later on but..)

Nice side Jake. I can see that side working pretty well also. But i still like Cayless in the second row. I think Mateo needs more experiance off the bench before being a full time starter.

Once again, Cityrail is running late.

Geez I wish Bob Carr would do something about them.

Yes it is nice to ponder what our full strength team could look like, but we must remember the words full strength and Parramatta rarely go together. Lets hope that our luck changes next year and we stay relatively injury free but one injury can change the entire outlook of our sqaud.

Its more selection issues IMO. We have a lot of worthy players who are young and are determined to do well but arent given a shot. We could have fielded much stronger sides this year.

hey man im sure queensland rail is worse

The funny thing Peej is living out Eight Mile Plains way, there is supposed to be a 150 bus every 15 minutes during peak times...it's called Buz 150(as in buzz..yeah I thought it was L.A.M.E. too).

Good luck if one comes through on the quarter hour...more like 3/4 hour...maybe they should call it the Tahu 150 or Burt 150 or Grothe 150 or Smith 150 or Petersen 150...get it 3/4.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
