Feel for Dunster , that awful hip drop has cost him his career, has no real pace and is getting found out. It shows one thing, the young players that can make the leap easily are special. Talagi and Sanders need time to adjust to the pace and strength of NRL.

Stickyy had an offer of $500k pa to Sanders, it was not signed due to the Round 6 change, interesting now to see what happens.

Wow that’s crazy money, no wonder he was keen to go. It’s only one game but you’d have to think Canberra will be looking to renegotiate that amount.

It happens all the time. They dominate in juniors and get talked up as though they’re the next Messenger, and once in opens they’re just not at the required level. It’s not even a knock on them, it’s absolutely entirely predictable. But it just goes to show, once again, how silly it is to count on juniors to plug gaps or slot straight into the top grade.

Hmmm, the juniors have shown exactly that, that they are juniors, I can’t imagine any of them appearing in first grade this year unless we have a terrible run of injuries. 2025 will be a different story

Sorry mate, you’re right, I’ve been off base. They’ve been f**king fantastic all night. Scoreboard doesn’t reflect how good they’ve been. Valiant effort against a phenomenal, full strength Raiders squad.

Haven't read the whole game thread but my thoughts:

- Sanders is garbage. Another over rated junior. Off to Canberra hopefully
- Haze Dunster is the slowest winger I've ever seen. He also appears weak. I suggested he give the game away last year. He is done.
- Blaze Talagi is not a fullback.
- Greig looked strong
- Kelma looked strong
- Hands looked very good but I reckon BA will go with Lussick which I think is the wrong call
- Left centre is still a worry but I reckon Simmonsen will get the gig. I don;t think either Harper or Simmonsen are good enough
- Makatoa might get suspended so we are on track to replicate 2023. Hopefully Lane doesn't for his crusher.

From what I have seen of him he’s pretty meat and potatoes though
