Parra's fans

Here's a question for the people that went to the games - how many Eels fans were at round 26 last year and the finals match a week later? In comparison to how many were there last night.

So you don't need to asnwer - I already know the answer myself - but it's something for you to think about.

Why do you think the crowds were different at the three Kogarah games in the past 9 months? Just have a think about it.

As for throwing 'bandwagon' around like it's some kind of grave insult, get over yourselves. Most people don't give a f**k if they're called bandwagoners. I'm sure you don't give a f**k if me and my mates mutter 'civilians' when we see your sloppy bearing and personal standards. It's the same thing with 'bandwagoner' to non-tragics. We just don't care.

Am I a disloyal tv-watcher because I stopped watching 'Lost' when it turned sh*t?

Explain to me quickly why it was not a sell out?
Because you weren't there?

Quick answer: because about 3,000 Eels supporters that were there last year stayed at home.

Longer answer: Parra supporters don't travel well. Worth noting that a number of other venues often look forward to Saints supporters to help make up the numbers. On Friday, a number of supporters couldn't head north up the Princes Hwy. It was blocked off due to an accident - traffic was chaos in places. Might have cost us a couple of thousand, no way of knowing for sure. We don't need Parra supporters to fill Kogarah, but it wouldn't have been an issue if last year's runners-up had more supporters that travelled.

So a car crash and other teams supporters are to blame for it not selling out? ok no problem got all the facts i need i can leave now and get on with the day:p

I gotta say, we should look at our own backyard before going off at parra fans. 15000 is just not good enough for our first home game at kogarah. Let alone vs parra. It should have been 18-20,000. Maybe the weather scared people off? Bit seriously I thought that was fairly poor effort. I expect this to improve.

i'm going to make a point of not reading anymore of your posts, you are a complete moron, anyone that continually puts sh*t on saints doesn't deserve my attention, go and support the scum if you like, the crowd was 15068, well 14,800 were dragon supporters, who made a great effort to get there, the army was brilliant, and the st george support was deafening, so don't go blaming st george supporters for not turning up.

15,000 is on the low side, regardless of how many Egg fans turned up. I don't think we should be blaming them for an average crowd figure.

My biggest concern is whether that inbred family from last year got into the ground. The family that made the news because of the sellout, and if I remember correctly one of the boys was wearing a female styled jersey LOL.

No just better than you t-homo.

And I'm the one who thinks I'm better?

Bandwagon supporter who now needs to start with gay talk. How original.

Oh and for the record, I'd back the intelligence of the majority of the Saints fans on these forums over yours.

But it's true, civies are useless sh*tmerkins.

So not just a bandwagon fan, but also a arrogant snob, who thinks they are a class above all else.

Good luck for the remainder of 2010, try and get out to a game this year to let your side know they have your support....for that 1 match at least.

Don't know about anyone else Willow but I'm critical of the Eels fans who didn't turn up. Saints represented over 80% of the crowd, if not more, from my vantage point. Given the audacity of the media and Eels fans to claim a lockout last year, it's disgusting they didn't pull their weight to fill the ground.

agree agree agree

i dont think 15,000 on a Friday night is bad at all. what are you people smoking? it is bloody difficult to get there on time on a Fri nite.

If you weren't so into yourself and actually held conversations with people, you'd understand that there are accountants, trades people, lawyers, retail workers, doctors, executives etc on these forums. You know people from all walks of life.

I mean their IQ's probably aren't at the level yours is, and they do attend some footy games, but generally they are nice and intelligent people.

Do I recall correctly that one was actually a Saints, one an Eels, one a Warriors and one a Bulldogs fan, and the Tele had dressed them up in Dragons jerseys?
