I'm talking about next years recruitment. This years recruits have mostly gone backwards. I blame the coach especially when I see players like Kris Keating play so well at other clubs with a real coach.

If Kearney hasn't been booted for his efforts thus far, he will be there for the first 10 rounds next year as well to give him one last chance to make amends for the last 40 odd games. I personally don't think he can make the necessary improvements and his inability to prepare a first grade team for the challenge each week will not dissolve with a change of roster next year.

I truly hope that I'm wrong but I've lost all faith in his coaching based on what I've seen this year.

From the list you have posted the best coaches available (assuming Murray has retired ) are folkes, Anderson, Stuart - Anderson won't come back , Stuart is going to the raiders so I think Steve folkes is your best option he will bring discipline, fitness and defence and experience ! Premiership winner, dally m coach of the yr, 300 games experience , As well as spending the past few years at other Sydney clubs tigers and dragons sharpening his skills. Steve folkes is your man

when he was on NRL on Fox last night they asked him what was happening and he just seemed really cagey about it as if he knew something but didn't want to fess up purely cos he knew he had to bite his tongue a little ... and given today's events, it makes me think he's got his next gig sorted out and its probably us

I hope it isn't Stuart..... though I get the feeling it will be. If he comes though one bright side IMO could be seeing Joey Grima back at the club.

But I would prefer Stuart to Jason Taylor - without Russell's money and celebrity to attract players he won't be any better than Kearney. His newspaper articles criticising Bellamy and Hasler have made for great comic relief.
