Does anyone view Pangai as a contender next year? His size and pace in the centres could be useful!

It is a nice problem, all these young fast backs, each of them have ability and bring something to the side.I would be leaning towards Simona and Lawrence in the centres for the simply fact they are good defenders.
Koro,Nofo and Ted have all been caught out at one time or another in defence this year, with time and experience they will improve in this area.Richards will definately be in the team ,being a gun goal kicker is an ace he holds over the other backs, but its a nice change to have some quality options.

All good points you raise. It is a long time since we've had these options and I guess someone willing to give them a go.

Taqele and Pangai are big chances next season and could comfortably and adequately take up a spot on the bench. Give the size of the guys, they would be immense impact players against tired opposition.

The Forgotten Fend

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTKOSLLJFTk

Didn't want to start a new thread for this but it's a great 11min video.

I usually watch the 2005 highlights video at seasons end but this may just be enough.
I could watch that every day for the rest of my life. The flick pass was skill and intuition, the fend was brutal - together, three of the elements that make rugby league a great game. It was also good to see Richards bundling Gasnier over the sideline in the preliminary final.

That's my favourite memory of Patty. Gasnier terrorised us that year and to watch Richards rag doll him like that was legendary.

Richards had a lot to do to finish off what Benji started.
People seem to only remember the pass but Richards made it great.

He won them the Super league title with an amazing come from behind win.
He is just as good, if not better than he was in 05. So glad he is coming back.

He got out jumped by Joel Monaghan, who scored a try. He then sent the ensuing restart dead in goal on the full & gave Warrington a penalty on halfway, who scored again from that set of six.

I can forgive the conceded try to Monaghan, but i can't forgive an experienced player who kicks the ball dead from a restart after conceding a try.

He's lucky Warrington went to sleep with half an hour to go.

On any other field the ball doesn't go out on the full. The in goals are about 2.5 metres wide and the field isn't 100 metres long. I can forgive him for not quite judging it properly. He had a good game and will be a welcome addition to the squad.

The players know wembley is shorter. He's played there plenty. Its no excuse.

His kick off after tge second try was woefully short, but not short enough to give his side a chance to contest the ball. Just gave Warrington good field position to start the set.

These are rookie errors.

I bloody hope it was just an off day for him.

I still don't get why we signed him. Wing is a position where we have plenty of good options.

Maybe he will go alright but I still figure it is the wrong type of signing.

We needed a goalkicker for starters. He has the ability to win us the close games.
Id put him on the wing and move Simona to centre or vice versa.
