Wow, Paul Gallen is getting right up there in the dickhead stakes this year. The way he's conducted himself over the past 6 months has cemented his spot as one of the most hated players in the comp.

He used to get a free pass because he was hard as nails (the guy you loved to hate) and someone the NSW fans could rally behind when he pulled on the blue jersey, but it's getting harder and harder to defend the guy's actions. On field moaner, off field cry baby, breaking ranks with team mates, cheap shot merchant, diving cat, twitter tough guy, press conference tough guy - the list goes on.

Not the way the captain of NSW should be acting - he's starting to make Greg Bird look like a librarian.

Disappointed you ever gave him a free pass Mixy. Yes he's a tough player most of the time (and basically just a good player overall) but when was he ever not an all-round wanker both on-field and off-field? Totally the wrong candidate for the Chuck Norrisesque status he was bestowed with, especially when you throw in his prolific gift for losing at everything.

He was just on the BSB & is sticking by the story that it was his dad on his account. He said he's used to the criticism but his dad is taking it hard & wanted to defend him.

Stupid thing to do but I don't think he cares too much anymore about what is said / written..... But his family & friends do.

I actually like Gallen but the interview sounded like a bit of back tracking and trying to polish a turd and call it a diamond.

He has lost me a bit with his siege mentality woe is me crap in season 2013 though so maybe I am not as impartial as I once was
