Gag orders are a lot more difficult than anonymity.

Besides, a conviction or not doesn't necessarily mean that something didn't happen. If a true accusation doesn't hold up in court, should that person be trotted through the media as a liar? How do you control for that? Ultimately in most of these cases the only people who really know what happened are the people involved.

Surely it's just easier to not name. Tbh I'd also be fine with not naming either party, or not publicising the hearing.
