As I said unless he kidnapped them or held a gun to their heads then the decision is one of shared responsibility and all should be punished equally

Have you considered whether our captains in Messrs Hunt and Mc Cullough new it was taking place and if they did know what punishment they should face?

Obviously if they didn’t know then it truly was a “Mum’s the word” party and all attendees equally guilty.
The club should sack him. 2nd offence.

I have no clue about the ins and outs of it. But he organised it at his place so he has to cop the blunt of the blame.
I agree they've all stuffed up big time though and if Capt Hunt did know, what can he do to stop it? It's a tough one all round and the nrl will now try to screw us sideways for it. They always do.

I wonder just what is going through Anthony Griffin’s mind at the moment ? The man has tried so hard to turn the team’s fortunes around for the better , some players have lived up to expectations on the field whereas others have not .

He has also attempted to build a new culture at the Dragons only to have this mess thrust upon him , this may make him decide that this mob is no longer worth the angst nor his efforts , would not surprise me if he wanted out .

After last years breach Vaughan will be lucky to not have his contact torn up. Complete brain explosion, depending on the penalties this could seriously effect our season.

They are all equally guilty and the gutless bastards that took off into the night are testimony to that.

No wonder we cant make any metres on the paddock some of these blokes have the spine of a Cephalapod FFS.

Blame Vaughan all you like but the others could have easily said "No Paul not the right thing to do save it for later".

Re Hunt and if he did know you ask what he could do, well for starters command the respect of the playing group by saying 'listen here you dick heads this is not going to happen on my watch" and if necessary give the coach a heads up.

FMD this would never have happened under "Sticks" watch and these blokes would have shit in their pants with the strength of character that he had.

The club when questioned last night strongly denied JDB was at the party and now today we find out he was so ask yourself how the f**k did that happen?

This is all about a collective of players not about 1 of them.

For mine the dishonesty and lack of guts shown when they were caught out is more culpable than the stupidity of the deed itself.

Cant even call it a brain explosion. They knew what they were doing.
You cant even say sorry for something so stupid, sorry for what?
Sorr for shoving your middle digit up at the rules and authorities.
We all do it in some shape or form in minor ways but these guys know they cant step off the line.
Dumb and dumber x 12, 13 or how many were there

Vaughan ran for 262m against the Warriors & has been pretty consistent all year but seriously this is pot plant behaviour. You’d think Vaughan would have learnt after last years COVID breach.

He’s not alone here but given that the party was at his home he’d have to be the ringleader. Not the behaviour of one of most senior players.

I’m disgusted by the whole incident, it’s embarrassing.

I'm not blaming him entirely "old timer".
You better take a bex and have an afternoon nap mate, you're cooked.

I'm not disagreeing with you about them all being at fault, equally. All i'm saying is, it's his second offence for the same thing and he organised it at his place.
So therefore, he should and will be dealt with more harshly. As for Hunt, maybe they weren't there because they were going to camp for origin? I don't know how he's meant to stop something like this from happening.

Not disgusted but embarrassing is close to the mark

The 8 game ban imposed on Vaughan effectively means no more games for him in 2021 unless we make the semis which is now highly unlikely.

Not sure what went through his head. NRL statement said he wasn’t co-operative. I mean with a pregnant wife and a young kid, a contract on the line, you would think he’d stop being so arrogant.

Given that he is on big coin and a couple of forwards on the market, as harsh as it sounds, do the Dragons try and sack him?
