stuart raper will sort out the avaibable off contract players, suffice to say that the full back position will be his hardest essay as your choice for 2006 david peachey is on thin ice.

lets hope however for the good of the club peachey can find his best form this week and the defensive pattern of stuart rapers holds up as it did against penrith, if both those things happen then next weeks forum may have more positive comments.

Umm Bird has deserved every bit of criticism by me & others. He has under performed.
He has also deserved every bit of praise he has received from me.

Raper has concerned me all last year about his reluctance to not pick the likes of Simmons & Bird who have had dream runs into firsts grade & delivered nothing for the massive investment.

The tide has turned with me for Raper & if he continues with his selection policy I believe he will fail.

As fpr Peachey, of course he is on the way out. hell be gone by the end of 2006. Until then, he is extremely good value & a great player.

Or on your logic, buy Roberts for 400k to replace him, which Iwould consider not enough of improvement for the extra 300k. Or put Simmons up!!
