Pearl Jam Coming back to Tour!

Going to be releasing a new album in September and touring Australia in December which will be officially announced next month.

I listened to the new single on the web a few days ago and didn't think it was that great, but am a huge fan of their earlier work. The 2006 concert in Newcastle was awesome.

Soo, will anyone else be going? I seem to remember a few PJ fans around these boards.

Ben Harper & Relentless7 supporting. Sydney shows start Monday 30 November, unfortunately doesn't look like there will be any weekend shows (they play Melbourne Friday 4 December and then off to NZ).

I went to their 2006 show in Brisbane, was great. Played an awesome set and continued to play even when the lights came on. This is one I will not miss.

Some of the newer work isn't great, but they do put on a great show. No matter where I am, I always make sure I go to their gig...

I would go see them, they are good live but haven't released a good album in ages. Yield was the last decent album and even that was average.

Yield was brilliant. Second best album they have made (behind Vitalogy).

Play me Vitalogy, No Code, Yield, and bits and pieces of the other albums and I'd be very happy. The worst thing about Pearl Jam shows is the people that talk through anything that isn't on Ten or Versus...

edit. Nothing wrong with Binaural and Riot Act, but if its not on the radio it isn't for some I guess. More room for me anyway!

I'm going to Auckland and I think I've bought tickets already, even though according to all sources they don't go on sale for a few more days. Has anyone bought tickets from showbiznz.co.nz or showbiz.com.au? They are selling them already and I bought 6. I hope they are legit.

One show, double the capacity, at least $20 per ticket more...makes a heap of sense. Nothing that I want to see - seen them outdoors already and I'd rather see them at the EntCent. Acer last time around was bad enough...absolutely no atmosphere.
