yes we have a poor record, but im pretty sure u werent whinging about that on the first weekend in october of 2005. inc ase u dont no, there r 15 other teams trying 2 win games to. a successful campaign takes more then solid recruitment. prince was always gonna leave, unless noyce has biblical relations, then he had no chance. john morris had a decent year. sheens cldnt help marshall getting injured, hence the extra pressure on mrris and the farah move. no one has said mcdonnell is whatuira replacement, and more to the point, if we had the money, whatuira would have been retained.

a select few of u need to realeise wt ow u nothing, and there is more going on behend the scenes then use realise.

Firstly, there isn't any defamation in the post you quoted.
Secondly, Morris had a poor year. He was played out of position all season long. He knows he performed poorly too.
Thirdly, knowing Benji's history with injuries in his short career so far, Sheens should have had something in place on the chance he got injured again.
Fourthly, Farah didn't feel any pressure, champions are above pressure. Morris was under pressure the moment he was going to be playing in the halves, irrespective of Benji being injured or not.
Finally, Whatuira wouldn't have been retained if we had the money, his performance this season was consistently sh*t and undeserving of a renewed contract with so many good young players around.

You've gone off the rails here. We were talking about Benji's injuries. Sure he may have tried some things, but when he only gets 5 chances a year to try something before busting his shoulder again, it's pretty pointless, and expensive. And his shoulder problems happen so regularly, a coach would be stupid not to have a plan B just in case they get injured again.

I've actually been a moderator of almost 75% of the forums here in the entire time I've been a moderator. I had no problem with any of those. As I said, champions rise to the occasion and don't get set back by pressure, instead they lap it up and perform even better.

Morris came from Parramatta as a back up halfback behind PJ Marsh, who is not as good as Farah. Why do we sign someone who isn't a good enough hooker for his previous side to play in a position he has little experience in at all (and practically none in first grade). It was a stupid purchase for the halves. If Farah had the injury problems, then it would make sense. But he didn't.

FInd me the quote if you really like. I made a suggestion that we wouldn't have resigned him purely because we have ample backs already to fill his void, all are younger, faster, better and cheaper than he is. Again, it'd be stupid to resign him.

This forum allows a little more latitude than others, but in turn generates some real feelings and people come out and tell it as they see it. Now if people from within the club or outside the club get upset by what is said, they should give themself an upper cut.
If Tommy Shines, Sizzler, Ronald and Junior burger take offence of what is written on this board, its time they give it away. Its not life or death stuff and it just dribble that I and many others write. Maybe if the club listen to our dribble than we would be winning a few more games

to all the inbred whingers out there, here r some facts of life.

1a. yes we have recruited poorly, however thats becos of a thing called the 'salary cap'. some of use may not have heard of it, but its pretty important to keeping equity in the competition.

1b. even if we havent reached our cap limit, thats becos we have marshall, hodgson, heighington, tuiaki, te'o and flannigan off contract at the end of nexy yr. the later 3 would already have doubled there contract value and then some if they continue there great form into next yr. so there is 400-500k. also there is no guarantee hodgo will go to england, and if marshall has a good yr, he will need is funds topped up, so there's another 100k minimum for them 2. then there is galloway who would wantan increase on his 220k if he has a good yr. plus there is other's offcontract who we will need for depth (O'hara, Metulisa etc.)

2. yes players have left our club, but if someone else (titans usually) pay them 100k in overs then y should we meet that. if we paid richards, laffranchi, prince etc what there new teams r paying them then ian schunurt will have 2 relocate his office to concord.

3. to the people whinging about the juniors who we've missed, then see point 2. and to add to that, if neone saw folau when he was 15 he was average as.
