im just gonna ignore all the subjective stuff.
There's nothing subjective. But if you wish to ignore comments to get your own dyslexic point across then feel free.

morris was the parra 5/8th WHEN he was signed.
He was great too wasn't he? I wonder why they were happy to let him go elsewhere?

the plan b thing, well the salary cap barley fits a plan a, u cant blame 'em 4 not worrying about a back up. i agree it would b nice, but it comes down 2 dollars.
bullsh*t, almost every other team has a plan B, especially for the halves.

moderation- i meant of a totally different forum, knitting or microwave cookery or something.
I could do it still, quite easily. The basics of the job is still the same.

im looking 4 those many quotes now.
Something tells me you'll be looking for a while

im just sick of people who claim 2 b supporters (mainly moth) severely rubbishing the club i love. if they go release farah 4 priddis or something like that then ild understand, but rubbishing the club 4 not buying every player on the market or not takeing a gamble (ala prince) is baby back bullsh1t.
I'm sick of numbers being used in the place of letters or words when there is a keyboard full of letters at ones disposal.

Baby back bullsh*t - what is this, the year 1998 in Harlem?

No one has suggested we buy every player, all we've been asking for is a prop and halfback.

The rubbishing of the club has been over many more issues as well, including retention of current/previous players, recruitment, on field performances, defence, last few weeks of the season et al.

So you make the assumption if someone knows something about you that they are gay.

Does that make all you're relatives gay?

morris was good at parra.

most teams plan b is a positioanl change or a pl player, u cant have lockyer, thurston, cronk and anasta on the books, cos good players want this thing called good money.

the old numbers instead of letters call, reminds me of a saying about straws and cluthching at them.

i thought moderators were so spose 2 b professional, mehh...

this arguments had a decent life span

We don't have any of either, so we must have plenty of cap space to fit in a plan B somewhere in key areas.
u cant have lockyer, thurston, cronk and anasta on the books, cos good players want this thing called good money.
So why are we throwing good money at players who end up in our PL side, a la O'Hara, Galea etc?

the old numbers instead of letters call, reminds me of a saying about straws and cluthching at them.
which you follow up with

Pot, Kettle you know the rest.

I take it thats you're queue that you're leaving. The argument only arose from a stupid post you made.

where do i sign up 2 get paid 2 play around and argue all day?

morris didnty get resigned cos they got a better deal with finch, and tim smith came out of no where the yr b4.

galea and o'hara were superseeded by te'o, saffy etc, there r only 17 spots in a football team champ.

as i said i was supporting my club, a lot of ppl here could learn from that.

cheers 2 the ppl who haved pm'd me in support, much appreciated.

You're arguing with me right now hypocrite.

Both players are halfbacks, and a specialist five eighth, according to your comments about Morris, couldn't hold a position in that line up. That's still not helping your argument.

galea and o'hara were superseeded by te'o, saffy etc, there r only 17 spots in a football team champ.
O'Hara has been with the Tigers longer than Te'o and Saffy have been playing first grade. O'Hara came to the Tigers on the back of an Origin start.

as i said i was supporting my club, a lot of ppl here could learn from that.
As much as you may think people making negative comments and criticism isn't support, it's a strong sign of passion, that they want this team to succeed. They didn't succeed this season, everyone knows that, and they are asking for changes to make the team successful.

That is still supporting the side.

cheers 2 the ppl who haved pm'd me in support, much appreciated.
Wow, you allegedly get sent PM's from usernames to support you. That really makes your argument so much stronger. Whats the point in adding such a stupid comment like that into your posts for? Do you think anyone cares if you get sent supportive PM's?

hippie? lol, thats interesting
Sadly, it's more interesting than you.

Something stinks when O' Hara can't get a start and he eventually wins the forward award for the PL side ](*,)

but according to the sms poster above, thats a good thing

just like jabbing Farah with a needle in the wrong area was a good thing

and Benji busting his shoulder was a good thing

hell everything bad you should forget about completely and focus on the good.

I suppose thats why this dimwit can't remember much of the season.

ok, here we go again.

u started the argument, im defending myself, and my club.

O'hara was a reasonable gamble upon signing. yes he is a high priced pl player, but most other team would have given him a start when injuries hit, we were just lucky we only had gibb's injury in the prop stakes. my point he was a good gamble at a good price back when he signed, he has dropped off now, and no one will take over his contract, boo hoo, it cant b helped.

passioante nagging, whinging, b1tching etc is not support.

i recognised the pm's here rather then replying individually.

if im not interesting then leave me alone, i have better things to do neway.

peace out

BTW

Unit and Papa, Morris wasn't re-signed by us because we saw other priorities and didn't feel he warranted another contract for more money. Morris done well at 5/8 and hooker for us, at 5/8 however ( 2005) he was more the side kick of Tim Smith; they formed a great partnership for most of the year in 2005, however while he was doing ok for us many people still questioned whether he was a 5/8, particulary on this board and even Brett Kenny came out and said he wasn't a genuine 5/8 and wasn't the solution, he wasn't! he was showed up later in the year, failed in 2006 in the position and was subsequently not re-signed or considered a priority to resign. I lost no sleep over Morris going, he is a more then capable hooker, done well in that position, but we had better and the halves wasn't his position either.

His 5/8 playing reminds me of a inconsistent reserve grader impressing for a few weeks in firsts, then failing. Watching John Morris in the halves is like watching a porno you know whats going to happen in the end....

Morris has to play hooker, he's a very good one and maybe come of the bench and provide some spark or give farah a rest, this is where you'll see him perform well.

And accusing someone of illegalities they didn't make is how you defend yourself. I haven't heard the club complain about the members giving their opinions on a userboard under an alias name.

Hmm, lets see. In his final year at Canberra before we signed him, he played 3 matches for the Raiders that season.

In 2003 and 2004 he played 49 Games (none off the bench) and made 1114 tackles and 7 line breaks. Average of 557 tackles and 3.5 line breaks a season in those 2 seasons

In 2006 alone (The only season where he was in first grade with the tigers for 20 games or more) he played 22 Games (13 off the bench) and made 430 tackles and 2 line breaks. He got paid big money and stopped playing good footy.

passioante nagging, whinging, b1tching etc is not support.
Showing concern is not care or support? You are deluded.

i recognised the pm's here rather then replying individually.
No, you mentioned them as some rather childish attempt to try and make me feel like I have no argument.

if im not interesting then leave me alone, i have better things to do neway.
But you started the thread, attacking people of this forum. You can't call people whingers and think you'll get everyone agreeing with you. If you can't handle being called a dimwit precious, then you can't handle society at all.

peace out
as always, when the going gets tough, you go home

so to cut a long story short, he was unwanted, sh*t in the halves, and only good in a position where we don't need someone.

Thus, a sh*thouse purchase.

I respect your opinion, but in a club with one of the games marquee hookers (Farah) and an international hooker (Halatau) along with one of the better hookers in Reggies (Flannagan), John Morris is useless. Dud signing, and a complete flop.
