A salary cap of $4 million to cover 25 blokes means NO player in the comp is worth 500k, let alone 600k. That asking price in this game is absolutely ridiculous. The top tier players are capped out at 440k or so IMO, and Hunt isn't in that crew. 350k max.

He can leave and I won't be too disappointed. No team with a backline of Hunt, Hodges, Folau, Lockyer and Wallace could stay together for too long anyway, and out of that group I'd much prefer it to be K leaving.

Wonder if he'll head down to the Bred Not Bought Belmore Bankstown Broncos... would be an interesting sight to see.

yes ...game 1 he played at 5/8 & was as creative as a slug.

They tried him at 7 for the broncs in early 2007 & they got beat...

why is it as soon as any young player comes onto the scene and does very well for themselves theres always clueless geniused dickheads online who love nothing more than to use the term 'over rated'?

according to this forum full of knowledgeable members just about every decent player in the NRL is overrated at some stage.

Inglis is overrated, Folau is overrated, Hunt overrated, Lockyer overrated just some of the pearlers on this forum. All these blokes have won premierships and origin series. Most players in the NRL have never done either let alone both.

His management is trying to get as much for him as they can. Nothing wrong with that. There`s no such thing as `deserve` a salary. Everyone deserves whatever the boss is willing to give.
