Lachlan Coote has the potential to be twice the player K Hunt currently is, and Wade Graham is fitting in nicely at five-eight.

I do hope Sammut can develop into the halfback role. If not, there's Luke Walsh.

If Penrith do want to spend some coin, throw it at a recognised halfback such as Scott Prince or Matt Orford. Would prefer Prince.

according to this forum full of knowledgeable members just about every decent player in the NRL is overrated at some stage.

Inglis is overrated, Folau is overrated, Hunt overrated, Lockyer overrated just some of the pearlers on this forum. All these blokes have won premierships and origin series. Most players in the NRL have never done either let alone both.

Ask yourself, would the game be worse off without Hunt? There are stacks of young blokes, with far less arrogant and offensive "swaggers", who would chop off their left testies to play for Brisbane, or Penrith for that matter. Why would the Bulldogs want him? Luke Patten can catch just like every other fullback in the comp, thats all cutie offers. They have actual props too so they dont need a guy who thinks he's Martin Lang chewing up their salary cap and offering less than their current fullback.
