Alexander should be first picked. Followed by Royce.

Geyer, Cartwright, Girdler, Fittler and Puletua will also be there. As will Gower (but not at half)

Seriously though as far as any legends team goes i think penrith's would be smashed by any of the others!!

In saying that if there was a competition of "legends" teams all at their height of their powers i think canberra's would be the toughest to beat

Gary Freeman as a nominee?????????? Why not have Matt Rodwell while they are at it!

Needs more Preston Campbell, Graeme Bradley, one of the Mortimer's (was it Chris or Peter?) also was a great lock, Ben Ross was always better than Clinton, Paul Dunn maybe, Carl Macnamara maybe, Robbie Beckett maybe, & where's my mate Anthony Xuereb?!?!?

The backline IMO is pretty well set:

1. Kevin Dann (could be Wesser)
2. Graham Mackay
3. Freddie Fittler
4. Ryan Girdler
5. Alan McIndoe
6. Brad Izzard
7. Greg Alexander

The pack's props are pretty contentious, but the hooker/backrow is pretty easy too:

9. Royce Simmons

11. John Cartwright
12. Mark Geyer
13. Colin Van Der Voort

Bench could be anyone.

Well done. That is the worst legends team I have seen. The Titans legends' team would be 30 on that mob

Whatever. I know we aren't littered with mega stars but the team would still be full of great talent. I thought you were saying just a 'poor team' outright. Maybe it is poor compared to some other legends teams but why not let us panther fans feel good about the best talent that has represented us?

The likes of Greg Alexander and Mark Geyer did not achieve their potential on the rep scene due to the off field dramas triggered by the death of Ben Alexander.

P.S. The Titans have no legends! They are not the same club as past Gold Coast franchises!

He was a NZ rep halfback, Dally M Player of the Year in 1992 with Easts. He kept Greg Alexander at fullback in 1994. He of course is not ahead of Brandy but deserves nomination.

He was brought to the club in 1994 because Brandy didnt want to play halfback anymore. He lost alot of confidence in that role and wanted to play fullback.

^Really? I didn't know that..interesting.

He played well in his games for the Warriors at halfback. I thought he went to the Warriors cos he wanted to play halfback, then back to Penrith for the same reason...when Stacey Jones burst onto the scene.
