Very impressive from both sides tbh, flegg scored as many tries just couldn’t convert them.

This talent production will see us remain a top four nrl side for a long time, we may drop off a bit next year with Api and kiks going but we will get back on top once these kids are ready to replace them.

And yep Wallace seems to have the knack of coaching. He was a tough, unflappable type of player who got by off hard work rather than talent, tgat seems to translate well to coaching. Cup side had the best defence this year hopefully he studied hard ciraldos methods and can add his own bit to it next year as the nrl defensive coach.

Lisati looked dangerous with the ball.. Not sure how Faiumu hasn’t ever got a sniff for higher honours either, just looks really hard to tackle. Katoa was solid without being outstanding.
As a team who haven’t played before it was a credit to the players and staf.

Faiumu has to be the unluckiest reserve grader going around, he has looked good for years in our cup side.

The thing i like about wallace is he came through at a time when he got the best of both eras.

He had two years of john land and a year under bennett.

Than he had some more modern day coaches too.

Hes still only 36...

But he is a player that has really experienced the the old school and modern day approach of coaching.

Not all new coaches can adapt as we have seen with barrett.

Wallace really seems to have a great knack for it.

In a way, like ciraldo, he was never the most talented. By wallace was tough and all heart.

It appears hes instilled that in his players.

The boys playing tonight will be stoked with this result. Even more motivation to rip in up in Townsville. I can smell an upset coming.

The May boys were there, Taylan was going off at the end. Good for morale
Most these boys all know each other..

Most come from the dominant clubs. Comets, brothers, jets, saints etc

Thats a huge reason weve been so strong..

Young blokes like taylan probs looked up to players like faimu coming through. And the blokes that played today all come from clubs where our regular nsw cup players come from.

Its a culture. And the culture breeds dominance
