I disagree. I am sure we turned it on against the Sharks for 80 mins and maybe against the Roosters and Dragons for 40 mins. Other than that we are light years from where we were in the past few seasons.
EDIT - I just looked it up and we got beaten by Dragons and just limped home against the Roosters. Obviously my memory is not as good as I thought.

We torched the Dragons with ease in the Gong, they beat us over Origin.

The Roosters match was won pretty easily but low discipline play with ball in hand saw them score late to make things interesting.

The Dragons defence in that gong game wasn't FG standard

I have faith that the Roosters is the kind of team we always show up for mentally finals or not due to the westie v eastie hate, so I don’t expect the somewhat complacent mindsets we’ve shown against the likes of Canberra and Gold Coast.

So when the opposition lifts against Penrith they are playing bad, but when Penrith fire up it is because the opposition is playing poorly.

We made 9 errors that game
Gave away 8 penalties
Both teams missed 42 tackles

hardly us playing well

The spine (Without Edwards) looked the sharpest they've been all year in that game.

Dargons defence helped us but you can only play what is in front of you.

Exactly, thanks! So it seems we have turned it on for 2 and a half games this year.

A couple more.

Round 3 vs Brisbane. Brisbane were better earlier in the year. The game was over after May smashed Walsh early on. But we were up 34-2 after 50 minutes.

Played half a game in the Townsville heat in round 8.

Round 9 vs Souffs. We were rubbish for the opening 20. Clicked into gear after that and put on a score.

The rest has been grinding or rubbish.

Nathan named at 7, Schneider to reserves - everyone else 1-17 as per souths game

hope Ivan moves Sorro to bench and starts Garns

full strength for finals - One last ride

Lets go!!!!!
Also consider Leota from the bench if Leniu is coming from bench. Give him a job of belting the young pup

Spencer will start. Still would bench Leota cause we can work on the space behind a lazy Spencer.

Bit of cat and mouse between the coaches this week I think. Robbo always has something funny up his sleeve for Penrith e.g. Manu at 6.

I'm expecting Watson to the bench for ZDC. I would move Leniu too but he has spent a lot of time starting this year.

My simple game plan
- kick to Young
- turn the ball inside to work over Collins, Leniu and Watson.
- rush up on the outside to turn their centres and Teddy back in-field to the House of Pain.
- score more points than them.

Very confident about this one. If I allow myself to think we win and look ahead I am less confident about a prelim versus Sharks or Cows (because we will be expected to win), but if we win that I would be fairly confident about doing a job in the GF.

Would love to see Manu at 6. Would be taking a strength and making it a weakness.

Looking at that bench. I hope they bench Spencer the bench is garbage.

Whether he is 6 or not Manu will roam.

Our right has had issues and now a busted Cleary Angus and Manu will run there all night.

As for us

Luai to play some 7 and just play eyes up. They will be expecting Nathan to do everything

Garner for Sorro
Smith for Moses
