Live it looked forward and on replay it looked alright. It's no wonder the video ref can't rule on them.

I was basically in line with the pass and my initial reaction was the pass was marginally forward. It was certainly a close call but given the non sin bin I don’t think Robbo should be complaining too much. We potentially could have scored a couple of tries with Keary in the bin and the score line in the end more likely to be 40-0 rather than 30-10.

Keary was behind Henry when he committed the professional foul and then was the one to ground it. Penalty try all day every day assuming they cleared Cleary knocking on.

When the bunker said "we have cleared professional foul" you know the sympathy calls were coming.

The media need to call out the game management, they don't even try to hide it anymore.

Yeah but Cleary touched it 1st, they'd argue he still gets there before Henry.

Yeah I was on the side and was fine with that call. Earlier in the set there was a missed call so it cancelled that out

The forward pass is a weird one. Live I thought forward, but on replay it looked ok. Teddy over ran it a touch which is why it looked forward live I think. He did pretty well to gather it in and then pass it to rugby Joe. Klein called what he saw, so thats how it goes.

Sobbo singling it out is why he is such an unlikable gimp. He never acknowledges any of the dud calls their way, just moans about the adversity. 0 & 10 Sobbo, a new record.

This might sound crazy but I genuinely believe in the first 20 mins that Cleary and Luai were at the most insync with eachother than I have seen.

Yes they are always great in tandem and a one two halves combo but in those first 20 both were playing with crazy speed, guile and awareness. It makes you think just how far Panthers could go if they could keep both considering Luai is now entering his best patch of form and Cleary just reads the game so well.

It would have been a sin bin in any other game this season 100% but last night….

Expected this in origin, expecting this during finals too.... soak it all up, for now we are the poster child of rugby league, as soon as this dominance is over then we can expect the Wests tigers treatment of random sin binings

The first 25mins was brutal. Intensity amazing and defense butal. Maybe they took the foot of the pedal after that but seemed a drop off after Leota and JFH went off.
At 24-10 Roosters scored a fair try or would of been bar a wrongly called forward pass. It could of been 24-16 and 20 to go.
Also a few dropped bombs by Topou which is rare.

Lot of positive in the first half but the 2nd was a bit dissapointing. I still didn't think the attack looked that sharp. Lot of ball attacking the line and not finding any space. Maybe a credit to the Roosters defense.

If play like that first 25mins for 50mins tho it would be enough to beat Storm. I still can't help but think they probably went into conserve mode once built the big lead.

Garner had a ripper of a game. And while Kenny may not be the best attacking hooker in game he is by far the best defensive one.
Leota also impressed me.

Just picked up on what the bunker said, they ruled Kearys actions were an escort. I don’t agree, because he had hold of Liam Henry by his jersey, I don’t see how that’s an escort. Anyway it’s academic now, but I’ll be a touch curious as how Annesley spins it on Monday.

That pass was forward, were just conditioned to expect it to be let go because they let close ones go all the time. The only really poor (non) call we got was the Turuva trip.

Pretty easy to build a narrative about #adversity when you only look at one side of it. Dom Young also dropped the ball cold which wasn't called and the only momentum/points they had came from extremely soft penalties and 6 agains for marginal infringements that weren't blown consistently before or after. That wasn't a close game in which we got lucky. We were dominant in the first half, they then burned all their energy in a post half time surge in which they got some very generous officiating. We then wrestled back control as the whistle was put away and shut them out of the contest to full time.

The mental gymnastics from the Bunker to not bun Keary was something to behold.

Did the bunker say something like ‘it started as an escort so it can’t be a professional foul’. Dissertations could be written unpacking that one.
