I don't have an issue with players wanting to back up after Origin, all the great players are able to do it year after year.

But I just don't understand why we are resting our backups. We don't have another game where our Origin players are required to sit out. So our backups only get a run now via injury or rest. Either way, the backups need to be match fit and keeping their eye in.

Not worried in the slightest about losing the game (even if the backups were in), but just worried about injury now.

I reckon Martin needs to be rested, 80mins of Origin is an epic effort. He deserves a break, and Chris Smith deserves another crack - especially against Barnett.

Everyone else playing there SOO players so no reason why we won’t. Yeo excluded who has already been ruled out

By the looks of the players cut from the squad today, Origin players look like playing bar Yeo. Not many on here will be happy with this decision.
Maybe Ivan sees the value of getting the 2 points tomorrow as well. But hey, he is the Coach so let’s remember that.

I think cleary will play but smith will come in for Martin.they would need to apply for a exemption to get a player from outside of the 19

Customary to include sources. In fact it's usually mandatory.

You a mod now mate?

Jokes aside I agree. This place has been trolled too much recently.

I also agree.

I had no issue with the way coaching staffs took thweekends team. Pleased to see Yeo left out.

He should have left the field after that head knock.

Some of the rubbish being sprouted recently on this forum almost has a Benny Hil feel to it.

That is the part that makes zero sense.

Lets take SOS and Falls. Should Luai or Cleary not make it through Origin 2.

The guys to come in

Rested Round 12
Played Round 13
Rested Round 14
Played Round 15
Week off

That is 2 games in 5 weeks. After missing lower grades the last couple of seasons

So the whole thing is strange
