If they were going to cut players earlier, surely Falls or SOS would remain on the extended team sheet.A
who announced it

Player cut: 13. Isaah Yeo 20. Sean O’Sullivan 21. J’maine Hopgood 23. Charlie Staines 24. Kurt Falls
Late Mail: Isaah Yeo has been ruled out with Matt Eisenhuth coming in at lock, while Spencer Leniu joins the bench. Blues halves Nathan Cleary and Jarome Luai are set to play with Kurt Falls and Sean O’Sullivan cut from the reserves. NSW players Liam Martin, Stephen Crichton and Brian To’o all look set to back up.
Customary to include sources. In fact it's usually mandatory.
You a mod now mate?
Jokes aside I agree. This place has been trolled too much recently.
I don't have an issue with players wanting to back up after Origin, all the great players are able to do it year after year.
But I just don't understand why we are resting our backups. We don't have another game where our Origin players are required to sit out. So our backups only get a run now via injury or rest. Either way, the backups need to be match fit and keeping their eye in.
Not worried in the slightest about losing the game (even if the backups were in), but just worried about injury now.
I reckon Martin needs to be rested, 80mins of Origin is an epic effort. He deserves a break, and Chris Smith deserves another crack - especially against Barnett.
