I feel like the Eels will start to warm up after origin. I predict Panthers to get a few injuries and Eels to come home over the top of them and win the title.

More like the Eels do what they have done the past few seasons. Fade away.
The Parramatta fade out usually happens the last 3rd of the season.
2021: Won 12 out of their 1st 15 matches. Then lost the 6 out of the remaining 10 matches.
2020: Won 11 out of 13. Then won only 4 out of the remaining 9 matches.

Comments such as this just disrespects the efforts put in by the rest of the team.

Terrific team effort tonight in my opinion.

Loved the fact we were able to fight our way back when the Roosters had wrestled momentum and got there noses in front.

Ill take away the positives, I thought it was a really solid performance even if we didn’t quite ice a few opportunities where we could have put them away.
I thought he was the difference but Cam Smith gave 3 points to Tedesco

It was a tough win and a tough watch at times in the wet at Penrith tonight. Nathan and Api delivered the class when needed. You could have possibly forgiven them for a dropping a game tonight given all the players backing up and being up against a desperate Roosters side. Yet we still found a way to win and keep delivering for the fans.

P.S. Trent Robinson can moan all he likes. After all the things that have gone that clubs way over the years I just couldn’t care less about his moaning.
"Theres got to be a moaning after" And if you look close enough, you can see the yearly Sombrero Cap for the Roosters.

Wife and I got to our car in the Paceway car park she asked what I thought? She sits with her sister, so we don’t tend to interact during games. I said great win, delighted, I was really happy. Get home, come on board here and read some negative stuff which I don’t get. I understand the usual narrative around no Api, no Kikau next season but we have to suck that up, that is what it is. Lets worry about 2023 next year, we cant control that now It is a pointless exercise banging on about it.
Too right. People have to live in the present moment. Don't get the continual nitpicking after such a win and 6 points in front of our nearest rival.

They have a very tough run home. I actualy think we have better attack tbh. Their's is looking predictable and boring. They score by tiring sides out. They are just fitter and better line speed. I dont rate their attack highly.
I reckon you should check out the for and against first..🤷‍♂️

I think there is an element of truth in this. It feels like we are better defensive side than an attacking side (and number bear this out) and part of that is a deliberate game plan to strangle the opposition (ie rather hand the ball over 8 metres out than go for the repeat etc, one out stuff from the back 5 early in the count).

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE it, but if I was an opposition fan looking to hate on us (note that I don’t think this is the case with Hindy) then saying we are cynical and boring might be something I level at us.

Personally I would call us clinical; the way we take our chances is amazing. That ball from Cleary last night was one of the best I have ever seen, at a critical part of the match, and it was commentated like it was expected.
