I wanna here more comparisons of Luai to Thurston. Or hell, even how he's better than Luke Keary.

The dude can't play without his papa Nathan beside him; but apparently can't play much at all beside him either in big games.

If Luai is this inconsistent in V'landys Ball where running halves have free reign like it's school lunch time; what kind of fraud would he be under traditional rugby league rules?

He's not even better than Burton

I feel that this year is our best shot with Burton, Capewell and even TPJ's short cameo... next year, the window is probably still open though.

Big difference in that Wayne was playing the media, Cleary was playing with himself.
Bennett was only fooling souffs supporters and media idiots. He thought he was playing everyone and being the master coach, he was just being the old dick he always has been. The only thing that has surprised me about his stint at souffs is he did not bring Darius out of retirement.

I agree with you about Cleary, I just can't respect a coach that whinges about his son missing a week due to concussion.

Having to face Melbourne in the prelim now is bad juju for the Pennies. They will do a job on Parra but Melbourne will smother them dead just like they did Manly and Turbo.

and Cleary was doing a Trump, spouting a load of crap he knew wasn't true just to appease the Riff Raff fans.

But Melbourne would have done that to them in a GF too, right? The main difference being Melbourne will be fresh as a daisy, and have a lot to go on in terms of how to shut down Penrith (as you say). Only thing in Penrith's favour would be they avoid a GF against Melbourne and the memories of being shat on last year, and can try and get up a week earlier.

Bennett absolutely pulled off a master stroke. He outcoached Ivan in the media and on the field.

Absolutely he did. But he is still full of himself and denies many of his own actions.
Will be very interesting to see if Souffs ends up like every other club he has coach and down in the bottom 8 for a few years

Oh you will destroy whoever you play next week, no doubt.
Why is this no doubt? The Eels were competitive against Penrith earlier this season and have beaten Melbourne twice already. They have the forwards to match Penrith and Moses is in great form. Penrith deserve to be favourites but all the pressure will be on them. If the Eels play to their best I see no reason why they can’t win.

The Eels leaked 20 against an average Newcastle side. Do they have the defence to hold Penrith to 1 or 2 tries? Because that's what they will need to do to win. I don't see it.
