Tommy is still a bit teary eyed that the Roosters let Soward go. Understandable really, the great man is a visionary. I don't think he will truly be appreciated until after he retires. I don't think him being made an immortal will be appropriate though. I am more thinking sainthood.

The golden run for the Panthers continues.

Unfair that they get to play the Broncos in a timeslot other than Friday night. It's pretty much a given they will be confused and disoriented.

Panthers wish they got to face Broncos twice this year. injury depleted and still walk away with 2 points. An easy draw would see us face Broncos twice.

Favourable draw > Injuries.

Injuries kept the game close, but as it always does Favourable draw got them home in the end.

We have the favourable draw,favourable media attention,favourable no-tries,favourable injuries,favourable cheerleaders,favourable hot-dog stands....you name it,it's favourable-favourable-favourable.:crazy::crazy::crazy:

Main thing you have is a favourable coach. Ivan probably wandered down to NRL HQ, stared at Dave Smith until he got him to rig the fixture list to suit.

At last,we've been caught out...oh how are we going to live this down!

Our club has been reduced to ruins...people will be running through the streets wailing "why??-why??....oh the humanity!!":crazy:

If the injury ravaged Panthers can't back up in 5 days against the Roosters, people will be using that game as proof that it's the draw keeping us near the top and ignoring the short turnaround, the first 3 halves in pecking order being injured (Wallace, John and Peachey), our first two wingers picked (Mansour and Simmons) on top of the fit players from Monday night being exhausted from a tough fought win with most of our forwards playing bigger minutes then usual.

If we even make a game of it, that proves our credentials beyond doubt IMO. If we win, it's 2 points we shouldn't have a chance at and locks in a top 4 spot basically. If we lose... I think they get a pass for this week given the odds are stacked against us.

Roosters draw is the easy one. Facing competition leaders on the back of a short turnaround, with 3 halves injured, both wingers injured and them having a nice 2 week rest. They lose this and they're a joke.
