Penrith's draw this year...

They play the Dragons, Titans, Sharks, Raiders and Knights - aka the 'Fab Five' - twice each.

And they only play the Roosters, Rabbits and Manly once. And also the Cowboys and Broncos once (both at home).

Who did their season draw, Phil Gould?

Look, they're a solid team who are well and truly on the up. But that's borderline match fixing!

They're the Gold Coast Suns of the NRL.

Conspiracy bullshit about Gus. Suggestions of match fixing. Suggesting the people who made the draw could somehow tell that the bottom two teams this year would be a semi finalist and a preliminary finalist from last year. You've copped plenty of shit in this thread, for good reason. Penrith's draw is not unreasonably easy. You just can't hack that they are doing better than your team amd are madly grasping at straws.

Congratulations, OP, you have finally reeled in some Panthers fans and driven them crazy enough to take this nonsense seriously.

Nothing wrong with being defensive. It's the psychology of this whole site.

And of course you are going to back your club up when someone has a lash at you.

You would do the same.If you didn't,you would be a coward.

Oh,now we are 3rd on the ladder....that draw just simply gets the juices runnin'.

Penrith are leading the comp because they don't have any origin or australian representatives. Can you imagine how good they would be if they also had no NZ reps?

This statement doesn't make any sense.

Do you want to include the Caucasian and Aboriginal players as well.

May as well have a team of invisible men playing for us.

And yes, they certainly would go missing in defense.

Suggestion about match fixing?

Wait, you thought I was serious. How cute.

I can't believe this thread is still going... just let it die people and go on living your lives.

You mention match fixing yet you claim you weren't serious?

Listen here, most of the posters in here have been around long enough to know,by what you write and how you write, the difference between shit and clay.

And remember,it was you who started the fire.

You want to keep stoking it in the guise of not being serious, you'll just end up getting shafted.

Oh, so now you're pulling out the "I was only trolling" card. Nice try. Now go have a f**king shower.

Of course it doesn't make sense, that was my point. There seem to be a few people here who think having representative players is detrimental to a teams season. Makes you wonder why those players are in such high demand.

Mission accomplished.

Back on topic ... tomorrow will be a good contest. Brisbane are at full strength and will be very desperate.

A big 5 days coming up for Penrith.

Putting it another way,a champion team is better than a team of champions.

You wanted a discussion. It seems anyone who disagrees with you must be Butthurt. OK. What are your thoughts on the Roosters playing the high flying Panthers four and a half days after they play Brisbane? The Roosters meanwhile are on a 2 week holiday. Fair draw ?

Unless you want teams coming off a bye to only play other teams coming off a bye which could be a reasonable solution, your first complaint will never be resolved.

It is a bit unfair to have a 4.5 day turn around, given Saturday arvo is part of the weekly schedule now they should look at excluding the Monday night teams from the previous week from that fixture. Having said that if it is a 5:30 game the ?4.5? day turnaround suddenly becomes 5...

Penrith at home and they will be more than up for this.

Hopefully no serious injuries for the blockbuster for next Saturday's meeting with Easts.

By the end of next Saturday evening,we will be in a better light as far as our chances for the semis goes.

If Brisbane was playing next Sat (don't know if they are or not) would the travelling from Penrith to the airport, checking in,waiting for the plane to land in Bris, then traveling to their own various destinations take something out of them? Not that they do this every week noting they usually play on a Friday.
