In the old days the father wasn't even allowed in the room during the birth. Team needs to consolidate the season going into the finals, she's doing her job, he should do his.

That will help a little. But I think we're going to lack a spark tonight. Segeyaro can turn nothing sets into something and is our biggest loss. Then there's Peachey and Cartwright who could come up with massive plays that got us on a roll, usually to score points.

At the best of times, we would have struggled to match the class of Slater, Smith and Cronk. Take out our only 3 players with some genuine x-factor in them, and we're going to be left hoping out forward pack can get ontop and give enough space for Soward and Moylan to create more points then Slater, Smith and Cronk.

Was hoping we would have gone for Moseley at hooker tonight (rotating with Brown) so that we could potentially replace Segeyaro with a similar style player.

The hell you are talking about you donkey schlong enhaler.

All the people posting here have been here for ages.

Only people saying that Penrith fans are on a high horse are gronks like you.

The vast majority of Penrith supporters are realistic about the situation at the moment.

No one is expecting to win a comp. We're just happy to be relevant at the moment as we continue to build.

We have 9 guys out tonight. Hard to beat a full strength Storm team when you are full strength most of the time. Take out your half and your hooker and you got realistically no chance.

If we lose tonight it is nothing to do with the draw...but has everything to do with the players that are missing from the full strength team. Just as if we lose straight sets in the finals against teams at full strength..it would mostly be due to the fact our team is missing 3 of it's top 6 players. Take that out of any team and it'd struggle.

But hey...don't let the truth get in the way of a good story champ.

The excuses coming out already, beautiful.

Will Smith to show his potential tonight. We have seen glimpses, now it's time to unleash.

I hope...

I think Moylan is more like Lockyer. Seems someone put a brain in his skull unlike some of the blokes on your list.

Oh yeah I been waiting for this, here you go panthers this is a premiership contender team, you have no chance in finals just making up numbers.

Thought you would still be rubbing one out tbh.

Yeah we lost. Well done Storm. Defence too good. Seg back next week should sharpen our attack.

Considering the Injuries That panthers have and the inconsistent reffering. (Storm fan here but cmon refs were all over the place) The Panthers did ok to make the score what it was.

Their defence actually looked decent and if they had a bit of luck go their way on a couple of instances woulda been a much closer game.

Panthers still look better then the Broncos and their 10 fullbacks.

Seriously Broncos2010 you are a merkin.... right up there with BM and the Now missing person Doggiesbro.

Yeah Storm were always in control of that one. We looked disjointed without Seg and Soward had too much pressure with no one else to watch out for. Can't really fault that teams effort. They really took it to Melbourne.

Manly next week. Doesn't get any easier.

Due to F/A there's a real chance the Panthers could slip out of the top 4 if they lose, which would be a shame. While I don't expect them to match the likes of Roosters/Rabbits etc in finals this year they deserve to finish top 4 because they've been one of the most consistent sides when most thought they'd be scraping for the lower half of the eight.

Showed alot of heart in this game IMO.

Let the fustration get to them a few times but seemed to settle down. Takes a pretty mature minded side to do that.

We are a work in progress. Most of us know that. It's been fun stirring up a few mouth breathers for the last few weeks in any case. Bring on next week.
