Oh yeah I been waiting for this, here you go panthers this is a premiership contender team, you have no chance in finals just making up numbers.

And I'll bet the Panthers finish higher up the ladder next year than your 36 fullbacks and a couple of 40 year old forwards will do.

Nearly spat my Corn Flakes across the room when I saw you pack of clueless f*cks were favourites for next year. The lay bet of the millenium.

Panthers were shit tonight. But the duds were mostly players who were only in through injury. Kingston useless at getting sets going forward, BMM looked about what you would expect from an overweight reserve grader. Docker was awful, but think he's part of Cleary top 17 sadly. As was Will Smith, but he is the 5th choice to partner Soward.

At the end of the day, they had 9 players unavailable and we're in it until mid second half. They didn't get pumped despite fielding a largely second choice or worse) side, with our half back, hooker and starting second row missing.
Storm showed respect to a weakened side still and were just too good.

Penriff should lodge a protest with the NRL. Its unfair they had to.play the Storm twice with the Big 3 available.

This x100 My dad is a die hard Broncs fan and he cannot believe the recruitment.....

Panthers have a great team a dynamic coach and a great system in place, And actually reminds me alot of the storms foundation work many years ago (minus the cap cheating of course)

If you can keep that core together You guys have a real exciting next couple of years IMO.

Poor Donkeyboy. He is sitting by his computer, box of tissues at the ready & his hand loaded up with conditioner. Waiting, just waiting for the tears. Better try mantoman.com little fella. Nothing here but respect from opposition fans who can clearly recognize a team who have performed admirably all year.

He's been losing since the poor lady cursed to be his mother popped him out 13 years ago. If he hasn't figured it out yet, he probably never will.

I actually have a sinking feeling I know who Broncos2010 is in real life....... his posting and terrier like dedication to a unworthy cause is so similar to this fat loser of a kid I used to know from other forums LOL

He is the worst kind of fan and is a Broncs tragic.... :(

I think he's winning because he's reeled in about 200 posts in response to his bait. That's all he cares about.

As for Penrith, injuries have destroyed their momentum. Not their season, but their ability to step it up a notch when it matters.

Look, I believe that at this stage they're a rung belong Manly, Roosters and even Souffs... but losses like tonight prove nothing.

If you took Friend, Pearce, Moa, Cordner, Aubusson and Liu out of the Roosters (as a comparison) then we'd lose to Melbourne as well.

They're building for 2015 nicely (whilst playing above their weight in 2014 imo). But like everyone else they still need luck with injuries.

This is a fair post. I believe at full strength we're a chance but still a notch below the top sides. With luck and ref decisions ultimately deciding the fate. With injuries though... it's a miracle we won 3 in a row. it gave us a false sense of security in our ability to overcome the odds though.

Not a top 4 team based on tonight. Been punching above our weight for the last few weeks with the quality in the injury ward, and it was always going to be a tough ask against Melbourne regardless.

Whatever happens from here, I'm bloody proud of the Panthers this year. Hopefully this is the foundation stone for some better years to come.

This year was always going to be their stepping stone year and they've done it bloody well.

2010 has been crowing about our inevitable loss for 4 weeks and feels like he's achieved something when it finally happens. No glory for him here.

Penmyth are starting to fall apart. The Cleary effect, just like at the Warriors. Absolute bludger of a coach who can't get the job done when it matters.

I don't pay enough attention to your shit to care so haven't noticed. Who do you support? Serious question.
